Alumni Panel Discussion On “Current Trends & Opportunities in IT Industries”
The objective behind the alumni panel discussion was to share the experience of the alumni with the students and to make them aware about the opportunities and current trends of IT sector.
Details of the event: Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur organized the Alumni Panel Discussion by the alumni of SRWC for BCA and B Sc. (IT) students on 3rd September, 2022. The mentorship program was conducted to make the students ready to face the corporate world.
Sheetal Dube,Programming Analyst, Pune and Sharda Chawre, Software Developer Engineer, Kizora Software Nagpur, were the Alumni guest speaker of the panel discussion session. The purpose of this session was to guide the students on how to cope-up with the everyday emerging trends. The session helped the students to understand the different opportunities available for them in the IT sector, which will definitely help them accomplish their goal in today's modern competitive world. The mentors inspired other students with their experience in IT sector and provided knowledge of the various free courses and certifications available for the students.
Eighty one students attended the panel discussion. Unnati Kothari, student alumni coordinator introduced the alumni and their achievements. The session started by Miss Sheetal Dubey with introducing herself and her journey. She has suggested some free and paid courses and tips to crack the interviews. Then Miss Sharda Chawre shared some piece of information about the trending career opportunities and some in-demand skills. They guide the students to achieve their desired goal in their life. They also cleared the doubts of the students regarding the in-trend languages & career opportunities, resume making, etc. All the students were very attentive and showed their enthusiasm by asking questions.
