"National Sports Day"

 As per every year Sports Department, G.H Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur  was organized Power-lifting Competition on occasion of "National Sports Day" 29th August Birth Anniversary of Hockey legend "Major Dhyan Chand Ji". Dr.Sachin Untawale, Director GHRCE was the Chief Guest, the event started off great by lighting a lamp and pay tributes to " Major Dhyan Chand Ji". All India Universities National and West Zone Players were felicitated by the Guest with roses. Followed by ribbon cutting by the hands of Director sir. Mr.Jerome Jastin Arland (National Gold Medlist) was the competitiont  Judge gave instructions to the participated players about rules and regulations and competition was started.

Around 63 students participated in Bench-press, Squat, and Dead-lift overall.
