Alumni Talk on “Transformation from Campus Life to Corporate Culture”

Transition is an on-going process in everyone’s life that takes place at different stages. Transition from campus to career needs more attention as it involves a lot of planning. Corporate life offers several challenges which young aspiring candidates often are unprepared for. Freshers out of college need guidance to make this transition smooth. A successful transition from college to work is a learning process on its own. Keeping this objective in mind, Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur organized an Alumni Talk on “Transformation from Campus Life to Corporate Culture” for BCA and BSc (IT) students on 20th August, 2022.

The Guest Speaker for the session was Ms. Chetali Dhokai who is currently designated as the Tech Head, Wipro Technology, London (UK). She is an alumnus of BCA 2013-15 Batch. The speaker began the session by explaining how what college life is and the demands of the  corporate world. She  guided the students about the basic skills that a person need to take care of to make this transition from campus to corporate smooth and easy. She also shared some instances from her college to corporate journey.

It was a very informative and interactive session. 167 students have actively participated in the event. The alumni talk was organized by Prof. Purnima Rai, Alumni Coordinator, SRWC under the guidance of Prof Amina Vali, Principal, SRWC.
