GHRCEM, Pune Organised “MIC CHECK” – A Cultural Evening
The Fine Arts & Craft Club successfully organized “Mic Check”, a vibrant cultural event celebrating music, drama, poetry, dance, and stand-up comedy. The program aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity, confidence, and stage presence.
The event commenced at 2:15 PM with the arrival of the judges and faculty members, followed by a brief introduction to the event and its purpose.
Soon after, the performances began one by one, covering a variety of art forms:
1) Music & Singing Performances – melodic solo and group acts that captivated the audience.
2) Dance Performances – energetic and expressive performances by students.
3) Drama & Monologues – short yet impactful acts.
4) Stand-Up Comedy – light-hearted humor that kept the crowd laughing.
5) Shayari & Poetry – heartfelt words and emotions beautifully expressed on stage.
Judging and Results:
The judgment was conducted on the spot, based on creativity, performance, and audience engagement. After careful evaluation, three winners were selected and awarded prizes and certificates for their outstanding performances. All other participants were appreciated for their efforts and were provided with e-certificates as a token of recognition.
The coordination and enthusiasm of the participants made Mic Check a grand success. The event concluded with applause, laughter, and memorable moments that reflected the spirit of art and creativity.
