GHRCEM, Pune Organised E-cell Orientation Programme

The event aimed to cultivate a vibrant, innovative ecosystem by empowering students to become future leaders and entrepreneurs. The orientation focused on instilling an entrepreneurial mindset, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and risk-taking to nurture a generation of creators who drive economic growth and positive societal impact.  The mission of the E-Cell orientation is to introduce first-year students to entrepreneurship and show them how they can be part of it. We aim to spark curiosity through engaging sessions, provide foundational knowledge about E-Cell and its opportunities, encourage active participation in events and workshops, and facilitate networking with senior members, mentors, and entrepreneurs. Event Overview the E-Cell Orientation for first-year Computer Science and IT students was held on 19-09-2025 at GHRCEM, Pune. The event's goal was to introduce students to entrepreneurship and the college's Entrepreneurship Cell. Speaker Vaibhav Nalawade provided an inspiring talk on the startup ecosystem. The event also featured our sponsors, Cashvertz, who introduced their startup and conducted a tasting session for their website, offering a tangible example of a successful venture. aim to foster an innovative mindset, encouraging them to use their technical skills to solve real-world problems and create a positive impact Key Outcomes Inspired Action & Awareness: The event successfully introduced first-year CS and IT students to entrepreneurship, with speakers like Vaibhav Nalawade and the Cashvertz startup inspiring them to consider an entrepreneurial path Enhanced Engagement & Community: The interactive sessions and tangible startup example fostered high student engagement, laying the groundwork for a new cohort to actively participate in the E-Cell's community. The E-Cell orientation was a great success, effectively engaging the firstyear CS and IT students. The strong, positive response shows that we have successfully ignited the entrepreneurial spirit within our college's tech community, and we look forward to nurturing these budding innovators.
