Paper Bag Making Activity 29th July 2022
Objective: Paper bags are gaining importance as these bags are reusable, recyclable and biodegradable and at the same time environment friendly and pose less threat to wildlife
The contribution of plastic bags in damaging the environment is a known fact. In response to the ban of using of plastic bags by Govt. of India, students of SRWC conducted a paper bag making activity. The students were taught how to make paper bags from recycled paper. The students explored their art of quilling and painting to make the paper bags more attractive. The students enthusiastically made paper bags out of newspapers as well as waste papers. These bags were made with the purpose of distributing free of cost to vendors.
Participants: 300 students.
