GHRCEM, Jalgaon Organised Table Tennis Match
Table Tennis, often known as the "Fastest Racket Sport," is an indoor game that sharpens reflexes, improves focus, and develops physical as well as mental agility. The Sports Club encourages such activities to nurture teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition among students.
In line with these objectives, the Sports Club organized Table Tennis Matches on August 21, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 20 students, who competed in both the Boys’ and Girls’ categories. Matches were conducted in a knockout format, with each round bringing thrilling rallies, smart strategies, and excellent displays of skill.
The matches progressed with high energy and competitive spirit, and after several exciting games, the top three winners from each category were declared:
1st Place – Nikhil Kalaskar (!2th Science)
2nd Place – Tejas Baviskar (B-tech-3rd year)
3rd Place – Siddesh Bage (B- tech- 2nd year)
1st Place – Yogeshowari Bhoi (B- tech- 4th year)
2nd Place – Sonal Patil (BCA - 3rd year)
3rd Place – Yukta Kale (BCA- 3rd year)
The Table Tennis matches showcased determination, focus, and fair play, making the event both exciting for participants and engaging for spectators. The event was coordinated by Prof. Dhanesh S. Patil as the Faculty Coordinator and Mr. Sagar Sonowane (Physical Director), with support from student coordinators Mr. Nakul Mahajan and Ms. Prachi Nayse, who ensured smooth and efficient management of the event. Overall, the matches successfully promoted fitness, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship, while also providing a platform for students to display and enhance their talents.
