 GHRU, Amravati Organised Expert Talk on “Green Energy for a Sustainable Future: An Insight into Renewable Resources” GHRU, Amravati hosted an expert talk on “Green Energy for a Sustainable Future: An Insight into Renewable Resources.” The event aimed to give faculty and students a clear understanding of renewable energy resources and their role in building a sustainable future. Dr. Vishakha S. Shah, ESSA Coordinator, delivered the welcome address and introduced the guest speaker. Dr Chetan M. Bobade, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, gave the opening remarks. The main talk was delivered by Dr Maloth Ramesh, Assistant Professor, Marwadi University, Rajkot. He spoke about various renewable energy sources, including solar, wind, biomass and hydropower. Dr Ramesh emphasised the importance of adopting green technologies to reduce environmental impact and move towards sustainable energy solutions. He also discussed future challenges in the renewable energy sector and offered practical insights into the role of engineers in innovating and implementing green technologies.

The session was attended by faculty members from the Departments of Electrical, Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, and postgraduate students of Electrical Engineering. The Department of Electrical Engineering found the session highly informative and beneficial for both faculty and students. The department extends sincere gratitude to Dr Maloth Ramesh for sharing his expertise and to the university authorities for their continued support in organising such events.
