Shivmohatsav Dance Event at GHRCEM, Jalgaon

The Shivmohatsav Dance Event was organized at GHRCEM, Jalgaon to celebrate the birth anniversary of the esteemed Maratha king, Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The event featured a traditional Pavari Dance, attracting around 1,200 enthusiastic students who participated in a vibrant Flash Mob. A grand procession showcasing representations of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his mother, Jijamata, took place on the college campus, where students welcomed them with a traditional folk dance, reflecting the cultural richness of Maharashtra. Following the procession, students performed a captivating act that illustrated the joy and celebration experienced throughout Maharashtra upon the birth of Shivaji Maharaj. This event not only highlighted the historical significance of the occasion but also fostered a sense of community and cultural pride among the participants. The Shivmohatsav Dance Event successfully united students in honoring the legacy of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and emphasized the importance of preserving traditional art forms in contemporary society.
