Slogan Competition held at SRWC, Nagpur
Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur (A-Grade accredited), an autonomous institute affiliated with SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, organized a “Slogan Competition” on 27th January 2025 to commemorate National Girl Child Day. This initiative was aimed at fostering creativity and spreading awareness about issues related to girl child rights and welfare. The event was held under the esteemed guidance of Principal Dr. Amina Vali and Prof. Priyanka Mandve & Prof. Nikita Dawande co-ordinated the event. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines. A total of 10 participants showcased their creativity and understanding of the theme by crafting impactful slogans. The theme of the slogan competition was “Empowering Girls, Empowering Future”. The competition began with a brief address, highlighting the significance of National Girl Child Day and the role of education in uplifting and empowering girls. The slogan competition were judged by Prof. Swati Adekar, based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and originality. The First prize was awarded to Saniya Siddique (B.Sc FND 1st Year) for her slogan, and the Second prize went to Fatima Zehra (BCA 2nd Year).The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Jiya NSS Volunteer. Certificates were distributed to the winners and participants to encourage their efforts.
