Showcasing Presentation Skills at G H Raisoni University, Amravati
The event "Showcasing Presentation Skills" was successfully held at G H Raisoni University, Amravati, on February 11, 2025. This initiative aimed to provide students with a platform to exhibit their presentation skills and enhance their public speaking abilities. A total of six participants took part, demonstrating their proficiency in structuring and delivering impactful presentations.
Objectives of the Event:
1. To encourage students to develop and refine their presentation skills.
2. To boost confidence in public speaking and effective communication.
3. To provide an opportunity for students to receive constructive feedback from experts.
4. To create an engaging learning environment for both participants and the audience.
Judging Panel:
The event was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges:
- Dr. Tapan Kumar Sankar
- Dr. Mukesh Kumar
Both judges brought their vast expertise and experience to assess the participants based on clarity, content, delivery, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
Guest Appearance:
The event was graced by the presence of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vinayak Deshpande, whose inspiring words motivated the participants and emphasized the importance of strong presentation skills in academic and professional success. PRO Nitin Bhat, Club In-charge Mrs. Ashwini Rathi, and Club Coordinator Ms. Nilima Nathe were also present.
Prize Distribution and Certification:
Following the evaluations, a prize distribution ceremony was held to recognize the outstanding performers. The top two participants were awarded rank certificates for their exceptional presentation skills, while all participants received certificates of appreciation for their efforts and dedication. The top two presentations were awarded special prizes:
1. First Prize: Trusha Agre (B.Tech II Year)
Topic: Women in Science and Technology
2. Second Prize: Shravani Ugale (B.Tech I Year)
Topic: Mental Health Awareness and Well-being
The event concluded with a group photo and a vote of thanks by Language Club In-charge Prof. Ashwini Rathi, who expressed gratitude to all participants, judges, and the audience for making the event a success.
