Meditation Workshop on “Sahajyoga Meditation” at GHRU, Amaravati
The happiness & kindness Club of G H Raisoni University Amravati organised a workshop on “Sahajyoga Meditation” The workshop was conducted by Mr. Vivek Ghuse. The event aimed to introduce students and faculty members to the principles and practice of Sahaj Yoga meditation, promoting inner peace, self-awareness, and mental well-being. The trainers emphasized the importance of meditation in managing stress, improving focus, and fostering overall happiness. This was followed by a session led by experienced practitioners of Sahaj Yoga meditation who shared insights into its philosophy and benefits. They explained how Sahaj Yoga focuses on achieving a state of thoughtless awareness, enabling participants to connect with their inner selves. Participants were guided through a series of practical meditation exercises. The trainers demonstrated the steps to achieve a meditative state and encouraged the audience to practice along. The session was interactive, allowing attendees to ask questions and clarify their understanding of the techniques. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the students, expressing gratitude to the trainers, participants, and the Happiness and Kindness Club for organizing the event. The session was a significant step toward promoting mental well-being and spreading awareness about the benefits of meditation within the university community.
