  Futsal Competition at GHRCE, Nagpur

The Futsal competition for boys and girls was successfully conducted at the GHRIET Campus recently as part of the Sports and Fitness (UNHUP112) program. The event attracted a remarkable turnout, with 124 participants showcasing their skills and enthusiasm for the sport.

Under the coordination of faculty members Dr. Dhiraj W. Bhoskar and Prof. Shivashish Chatterjee, the competition was organized seamlessly, providing an engaging platform for students to demonstrate their athletic abilities. Student coordinator Mirza Anas Baig played a crucial role in managing the event, ensuring that everything ran smoothly throughout the day.

The matches were officiated by judges Mr. Aryan Mate and Mirza Anas Baig, who provided fair assessments and valuable insights to the players. After an exciting day of competition, Team “A” emerged as the winners in the men’s category, while Team “D” claimed victory in the girls’ category. The runners-up were Team “D” for the men and Team “C” for the girls.

The event not only promoted physical fitness and teamwork but also fostered a spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie among participants. Overall, the Futsal competition was a resounding success, contributing to a vibrant and active campus culture.
