SRWC, Nagpur Organized A “Quiz Competition - National Unity Day”
Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur, an A-Grade accredited autonomous institute affiliated with SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, recently organized a “Quiz Competition” to celebrate “National Unity Day.” This event aimed to emphasize the importance of national integration and communal harmony among students. The competition was held under the guidance of Principal Dr. Amina Vali, with coordination by Prof. Priyanka Mandve and Prof. Nikita Dawande. Six teams participated in the event, each consisting of five students from the first year of B.Sc FND, B.Sc IT, and BCA programs. The teams were named Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Echo, and Golf. The participants showcased their remarkable knowledge and provided insightful answers, impressing the audience with their enthusiasm and expertise. After a series of challenging rounds, Team Delta emerged as the winners. The team comprised Munazza Farooqui, Anam Sheikh, Srushti Shinde, Dhanshree Jaiswal, and Muskan Bawariya. The second prize was awarded to Team Bravo, which included Shweta Tiwari, Shubhangi Bhoyar, Twinkle Manmode, Fatima Zehra, and Arisha Khanam. Team Alpha, consisting of Aamna Iqbal, Sarah Mallick, Sangita Manna, Muskan Telmore, and Aqsagauhar Ahmad, secured the third prize. The Quiz Competition was a tremendous success, fostering a spirit of learning and healthy competition among participants. It not only celebrated National Unity Day but also encouraged students to engage with important themes of national integration and communal harmony. The college looks forward to organizing more such events in the future to promote knowledge and unity among students.
