The Peer Counselor’s Club of G H Raisoni College of Engineering recently organized an exciting Treasure Hunt Competition aimed at enhancing teamwork, problem-solving skills, and quick thinking among participants. The event, held across various locations on campus, drew enthusiastic participation from students of all departments. The competition featured 24 teams navigating through five progressively challenging levels, with each round testing their ability to decode clues and solve riddles.

The event structure was designed to build excitement and challenge participants. In Level 1, all teams participated in the initial round, racing to complete their tasks without any eliminations. In Level 2, eight teams were eliminated based on their speed and accuracy in solving the clues. Level 3 saw another eight teams eliminated, leaving the top eight to progress. As the challenges intensified in Level 4, four more teams were eliminated, leading to the final showdown in Level 5, where the last four teams competed head-to-head to determine the winner. Ultimately, Team 3 emerged as the first-place winners, led by Sahil Pashine and including Yash Mishra, who excelled with their quick problem-solving and strategic thinking. Team 8 secured second place, with members Aakriti Singh, Vaishnav Chaugule, and Ayan Shaikh demonstrating impressive teamwork and determination. Both teams stood out for their sharp minds and collaborative efforts, making them deserving winners of this thrilling event.

The Treasure Hunt not only provided a fun-filled experience for participants but also fostered a sense of community and teamwork. Students showcased their creativity and resourcefulness as they worked together to unravel the clues. The event concluded with an awards ceremony recognizing the top-performing teams. Mrs. Surabhi Pranav, Counseling Psychologist at GHRCEM, opened the event with insightful remarks on the importance of mental health initiatives and how interactive activities like the Treasure Hunt contribute to a more connected and supportive campus environment. She praised the students for their enthusiasm, particularly the leadership of Sahil Pashine and Manmath Minke, along with other Peer Counselors, encouraging everyone to continue promoting mental health awareness through engaging and collaborative events.

The success of the event is a testament to the dedication and teamwork of the Peer Counselor's Club Batch 3 members, who worked collaboratively to deliver a captivating experience while ensuring the message of the treasure hunt resonated with the audience. The interactive nature of the clues encouraged students to reflect on their own experiences and consider the importance of mental health throughout the event. In conclusion, the Treasure Hunt was a meaningful and engaging event that showcased the talents of the students while reinforcing the college’s commitment to mental health awareness. The event's success can be attributed to the motivating and inspiring leadership of Campus Director Dr. R. D. Kharadkar, as initiatives like these enable the Peer Counselor’s Club to foster a positive, supportive, and empathetic campus culture.
