 G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management hosted an insightful online guest lecture on April 10, 2024, organized by the Electric Vehicle (EV) Club.

The lecture, delivered by Dr. K C Vora, former Deputy Director of ARAI Pune, focused on the intricate aspects of batteries and their management systems. Dr. Vora's extensive experience in automotive technology enriched the session, captivating a diverse audience comprising students and faculty members. The lecture began with an overview of the evolving landscape of electric vehicles globally, emphasizing the importance of efficient battery solutions in sustainable transportation. Dr. Vora discussed various battery types, their characteristics, performance metrics, and environmental impact, providing a comprehensive understanding of battery technology in the context of electric vehicles. A key highlight was the detailed exploration of battery management systems (BMS) and their critical role in optimizing battery performance, ensuring safety, and prolonging battery life.
