GHRCEM, Pune Organized Poster Presentation Competition
on “Renewable Energy”
The Renewable Club of GHRCEM, Pune, organized a poster presentation competition on 1st April 2024. The event's primary objective was spreading awareness about the current scenario of renewable energies in power generation. The students prepared posters on various topics related to renewable energy resources.
The students elaborated on the topic with directions like the current power supply and demand scenario in India. Potential power generation, the basic principle diagrams, advantages, technical limitation, Environmental impact, Major hurdles in technological development, site selection criteria, Economic analysis of plants, current research area, etc. 31 students from different branches have participated in the event; Professor N. P. Sardeshmukh and professor Kamal Ukey have taken efforts for creating interest among students. Students expressed their willingness to undertake renewable projects as part of their academic projects.
