Session on “Career Opportunities” at GHRU, Saikheda

GHRU, Saikheda conducted a session on “Career Opportunities”. The program started with a warm welcome by Prof. Sanskruti Pandilwar with a brief introduction & welcoming of Eminent Guest Speaker Dr. Dilip Gore, Founder Director, Sai Biosystems Pvt. Ltd, Nagpur (Maharashtra) and Mr. Abdul Waseem Qureshi, TPO GHRUS. Our respected Dean of the School of Sciences, Prof. Vidya Meshram Madam, presided over the session, and Madam gave a brief introduction about our University and our School of Sciences. Madam addressed students about the importance and significance of career opportunities sessions in current scenarios.

III Forum In-charge and Dean III C of  G H  Raisoni University, Saikheda Prof. Anju Naidu organized a one-day Career Opportunity Session for B.Sc. (CS, IT, PCM, PCM), M.Sc.( Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science), BCA & MCA Students. Dr. Dilip Gore Sir elucidated students by connecting real-life examples about Career, Career Development, Current trends, Why do we select a career, Potential career Paths, Career options in IT Sectors and Biotechnology.

Dr. Gore and Mr. Waseem Qureshi Sir expounded on comprehensive information about the various career paths available within the IT and Biotechnology industries, including entry-level positions, specialized roles and potential career progression paths. Eminent speakers informed students about the latest trends, innovations and advancements in technology and biotechnology fields, helping them understand the evolving nature of these industries and skills required to stay competitive. They discussed the specific technical skills, soft skills and educational qualifications needed to succeed in different roles within the IT and Biotechnology sectors. They guided how students can acquire and develop these skills.

Eminent Speakers showcased job opportunities, internship programs and career development initiatives available to students, helping them to identify potential pathways for future employment and professional growth. They provided opportunities to network with industry professionals, alums and peers to build valuable connections, gain insights into different career paths and access job or internship opportunities. Speaker introduced the students to resources and tools for career planning, including resume writing, interview preparation, job search strategies and professional development workshops to help them navigate the job market successfully.

Eminent speakers allowed students to ask questions and resolve their queries in a very prominent way. The overall purpose of conducting Career opportunity sessions for UG and PG Students is to empower them with the knowledge; skills and confidence they need to navigate their career paths successfully and achieve their professional aspirations. These objectives aim to provide students with a holistic understanding of career opportunities in the IT and Biotechnological sectors as well as the tools and resources they need to pursue successful and fulfilling careers in these rapidly evolving industries.

The session ended with a vote of thanks by Dean III C Prof. Anju D. Naidu to Eminent Guest Speakers Dr. Dilip Gore Sir and Mr. Waseem Qureshi, for their valuable cooperation and student’s motivation and Vice Chancellor Dr. Meena Rajesh and Respected dean of School of Sciences for their tireless efforts which propelled our university to new heights of academic excellence and steadfast support. Dean III C Madam explained to students the importance & advantages of the purpose of conducting such kind of industry-oriented programs.
