Training Session on Mission E-Suraksha Organised at G H Raisoni University, Amravati

The Happiness Club of G H Raisoni University was formed to guide. The G H Raisoni University, in association with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women C, has organized a training session, 'Mission E-Suraksha,' to create awareness among students regarding cybersecurity and digital safety on 29/03/2024. The trainer was Mrs. Ashwini Desai Maam, who is a Meta trainer.

The event was started with Saraswati puja by guest and Honourable Vice Chancellor Dr. Vinayak Deshpande. Then Dr. Vinayak Deshpande sir felicitated the expert speaker with a sapling. The program was designed to educate individuals, especially women, about the importance of safeguarding their digital presence and understanding the potential risks associated with the online world. The primary objective of Mission E-Suraksha was to raise awareness about cyber security and digital safety among the community, with a particular focus on women. In today's digital age, where technology plays a crucial role in our daily lives, it is imperative to educate individuals on how to protect themselves from cyber threats, harassment, and other forms of online exploitation. In this training session, Ashwini Maam gave information about the different privacy settings on the most popular social media platforms, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook. She also demonstrated how we can report inappropriate or false content on social media platforms to Meta.

The Mission E-Suraksha event received an overwhelming response from the participants, including students and faculty members. The program succeeded in raising awareness about the importance of cyber security and digital safety and equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves online. After the training session, students asked their queries to the trainer. After this, Dr. Vinayak Deshpande addressed the importance of cybersecurity and digital safety to the students. The event was concluded after Mrs. Renu Mohod presented the vote of thanks.
