Food Photography

Food Photography Event at GHRU, Saikheda

G H Raisoni University, Saikheda, organized a Food photography event under the Food Club and Photography Club on 13th March 2024. Students of the university participated in the event and understood the value of highlighting the ingredients used in a dish. They gain knowledge about how to make food look as delicious and appealing as possible to entice viewers to want to eat it. Around two students participated in food photography from the university and enjoyed the event enthusiastically. The event was supervised by the dean students’ council, Mrs. Anmol Dhavande. The event was conducted successfully by the in charge of the Food Club, Mrs Chaitali Barai. Club members Vansheeka and Atharv also assisted in making the event successful.

Objectives: 

1. To highlight the skills and creativity of the participants.

2. To be artistic, using creative compositions, lighting and styling to create visually stunning images.

3. To impart the value of highlighting the ingredients used in a dish. 

4. To help gain knowledge about how to make food look as delicious and appealing as possible to entice viewers to want to eat it.

Outcomes:

  1. Students understood the importance of creative composition.
  2. Students improved their skills and creativity.
  3. Around two students from the university enjoyed the food photography event.
