GHRU, Saikheda Organised Lyrics Decode Showdown

SDG 15 – Life on Earth focuses on protecting forests, wildlife, and natural ecosystems. Music plays a powerful role in supporting this goal. Through songs and creative performances, musicians can spread awareness about deforestation, endangered species, and the importance of biodiversity. Nature-inspired music helps people connect emotionally with the environment and encourages them to protect it. Music events can also promote eco-friendly practices and support conservation efforts. In this way, music becomes a voice for nature and inspires action for a healthier planet. The “Lyrics Decode Showdown” was a lively and engaging event organized by the Sports and Culture Department on 12/11/25. The competition tested participants’ ability to quickly identify songs and complete missing lyrics. More than 30 students participated, showing great enthusiasm and love for music. The event was organized by Mr. Allen Murray and convened by Dr. Anmol Dawande. The showdown was a grand success, promoting fun learning, cultural engagement, and quick recall skills among students.
