Engfinity CLUB at GHRCCST conducted a debate competition on February 2, 2024 on the topic “The Unheard Community: LGBTQ” wherein Ms.Rupali Londhe, the Judge and chief guest. Dr. Aarti Deshpande, Director, Raisoni Business School, Prof. Madhuri Barua, Dean Student’s Activities and Progression, Prof. Kalyani Dubey, Coordinator, Engfinity Club and other faculty members were prominently present.
There were four contending teams, namely Cyan, Coral, Lilac and Ivory, to put forth their viewpoints with a lot of conviction and in-depth fact-finding. Team Coral was adjudged the winning team, while Team Ivory was runners-up. Ms. Siya Yadav and Ms. Palak Sangani were declared the best speakers. The master of the ceremony was Ms. Khushi Majhetiya. The club president, Ms. Riya Shrivastava, proposed the vote of thanks.
