Nature Trail

GHRU, Amravati Organised Nature Trail at Bhawani-Lake, Amravati

A nature trail is an important learning activity in outdoor education. It helps students experience nature in a safe and controlled way. Along the trail, simple signs introduce trees, plants, geology, natural habitats, and native animals. It also explains how nature is connected to people and other resources. The trail allows visitors to explore the area without harming the environment. A trekking camp was organised at the Bhawani Lake, Wadali area, which is rich in natural beauty and wildlife. As part of the activity, students participated in a Swachhata Abhiyan, where they collected plastic bags and other waste from the forest area. This activity helped students understand the importance of cleanliness and environmental protection. Based on this theme, the Nature Club of GHRU Amravati organised the Nature Trail for B.Tech first-year students on 01/11/2025 at Bhawani Lake, Wadali, Amravati. The event was very informative and gave students a memorable experience close to nature. Faculty members Prof. V. S. Chavhan and Prof. Vrushali Wankhade, along with students, actively participated in the event. The programme was conducted under the guidance of nature conservation NGO members Dr. Swapnil Sonone, Mr. Pankaj Bandabuche, and Mr. Pradyumna.
