Christmas Celebration at GHRCCST, Nagpur

The NSS Club of GHRCCST celebrated Christmas on 24/12/2023 by organizing an event called “Ek Mutthi Anaj” in collaboration with THE STREE DOG Foundation. The objective of the event was to feed the street dogs. The NSS volunteers donated around 20 kg of rice, cooked by adding dog food to it and then fed street dogs. The NSS Club members made prior arrangements to organize the rice donation drive.

Logistics, communication, and volunteer coordination were efficiently planned. The volunteers, along with the BOD of the club, donated approximately 20kgs of cooked rice, which was later added up with necessary dog food and milk to provide a nutritious meal for the street dogs. The drive was successful in providing food to many street dogs in need. The generosity of the volunteers ensured a significant amount of rice was collected.
