“NUKKAD NAATAK” organized at GHRCEM, Pune

On the occasion of 'World Day of Remembrance,’' the Department of First Year B Tech, in association with Peer Counseling Club (Batch III), organized a Nukkad Naatak portraying the importance of Road safety and mourning for the people we lost on the road. The Naatak was held at the college campus ground). Campus Director Dr. R.D Kharadkar and deputy directors, along with all deans and heads of departments, graced the event. Some of the Objectives of Nukkad Natak were to remember road accident victims, acknowledge the emergency services' crucial work, advocate for better support for road traffic victims and victim families, and promote evidence-based actions to prevent and eventually stop further road traffic deaths and injuries.

To observe this day of Remembrance, 35 students actively participated in the activity. The Naatak was organized by Student Co-Ordinator – Tehseen Shaikh (SY-BTech) of the Department of Cyber Security and Data Science, along with Faculty Co-Ordinator – Surabhi Pranav (Counseling Psychologist) under the guidance of Dr. Vandana Dureja (Dean of First Year Department). The event ran smoothly with the motivation of Campus Director Dr. R.D Kharadkar.
