GHRCEM, Nagpur Organized “Mud to Masterpiece” - A Clay Modelling Workshop

GHRCEM Pune, Maharashtra, in association with GHRCEM DIY Club recently organised Mud to Masterpiece Clay Modelling Workshop on 31st Oct. 23. The resource person was one of our students Mr. Darshan Jha of First Year department. Darshan has won many awards in Clay Modelling including First prize in Yuvarang competition organised by SPP University, Pune. Darshan had an interaction with the participants before starting the hands on training. He also explained the importance of foundation base and structure in any clay model. He taught the mixing ratio of water and clay and gave adequate amount of clay to all participants.

It was decided that hand structure would be made today. The structure took shape slowly smoothly. While making the structure and training the students he was very interactive. Total 48 students participated in making beautiful hand structures. Each and every participant enjoyed very much.  The workshop was organised DIY club and coordinated by Counselling Psychologist, Mrs. Surabhi Pranav. The event was organised under the leadership and guidance of Dr. R. D. Kharadkar (Campus Director, GHRCEM, and Pune)
