Diwali Milan at GHRU, Saikheda

Diwali Milan was recently conducted at GHRU, Saikheda. The celebration included educational elements, such as talks or presentations about the significance of Diwali, its historical and cultural roots, and the traditions associated with the festival.

Event was hosted by students of GHRUS, Ms. Drishti from SOCM and Mr. Abhishek from SOL. The program started with the formal Saraswati Vandana and University song. Welcome address was delivered by Honourable Vice Chancellor Dr. Meena Rajesh and further the cultural programs were initiated. Various games were organized for the faculties and alumni’s on the occasion of Diwali Milan.  Surprise Ramp walk was organized for the faculties and best dress ups prizes were distributed to the winners.

Other prizes were also distributed as gifts to the winners of games and the best dress in the alums's. A cracker show was organized for the audience on this occasion. A valedictory session was delivered, and the DJ was open for all the students and faculties. The flickering diyas added a warm and inviting glow to the venue, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness.

The Diwali Milan function at the university was not just a celebration of a cultural festival but also a testament to the inclusive and vibrant community on campus. It left everyone with joy, camaraderie, and a deeper appreciation for the cultural tapestry that makes up the university's identity.
