Toastmaster Meeting Conducted at Raisoni Amravati Campus

 On the 12th of October, 2023, the Amethyst group conducted the Toastmasters meeting in the Amravati Raisoni Institute‘s Toastmasters club. The location, as decided, was the seminar hall, 3rd floor of the main building on the campus.   The meeting was introduced, and the audience was welcomed by SEARGENT AT ARMS, TM Sakshi. The details of the last meeting were given, and PRESIDING OFFICER TM Shravani officially started the new meeting. Further, TOASTMASTER OF THE DAY, TM Nancy, conducted the meeting and introduced the GENERAL EVALUATOR, TM Purvi, to everyone, whereas TM Purvi introduced her evaluation team:

Timer- TM komal, Ah counter – TM alvina, Grammarian – TM shrikant , And Evaluators- TM karan , TM tanika  & TM gauri

With this, she handed over the session to TMOD for conducting the rounds, and the team evaluated every aspect of the meeting.

1)Prepared speeches round: TM Muktai, TM Madhura and TM Liza completed their level 1 project 1, i.e. icebreaker speech.

2) Table topics round: Three three speakers stepped out of their comfort zone, challenging their speaking and thinking abilities on their feet. This round was enthusiastically conducted by TABLE TOPICS MASTER TM Lina.

3) General evaluation round: This was the most important session of the meet, where the general evaluator and her whole team evaluated the meet effectively; herein, they appreciated the effort and gave the points for improvement.

4) Felicitation: The winners for specific categories like the Best Speaker,  Best Impromptu Speaker, Best Evaluator and Best Roleplayer were announced based on voting by the audience, and the honours were done by Respected Vice Chancellor DR. Vinayak Deshpande, sir, honourable Registrar Snehil Jaiswal sir and The club Incharge  Ashvini Rathi mam.

The winners were:

BEST SPEAKER – TM Liza, BEST IMPROMPTU – TM Shantanu  & BEST ROLEPLAYER- TM Purvi (BEST EVALUATOR was not announced due to qualification criteria.) This was followed by a memorable speech by dear guests of the day on a good note, and lastly, by congratulating everyone, SEARGENT AT ARMS officially concluded the meeting.
