GHRCEM, Pune Organized World Mental Health Week

 Raisoni Group of Institutions (GHRCEM ) Pune, Maharashtra, in association with GHRCEM Peer Counselors Club, recently celebrated World Mental Health Week from October 3rd to October 10th 23. Keeping this year's theme in mind, "Mental health is a universal human right", 6 competitions were organized for students and Teachers of GHRCEM from October 3rd to October 10th, 2023. Day 1 was the competition of Impromptu Oratory, where the topic was "The day that changed my life". Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PPDT) was organized on Day 2.

On day 3, the Oratory competition was organized for teachers, with the topic "My experience as a mentor". Day 4 was dedicated to the Skit Competition in which the topic was "Being Vocal is the solution to all problems". Day 5 was meant for the Art Expression Contest, where the students expressed themselves uniquely. Day 6 was the last day of the completions segment, named Treasure Hunt. More than 245 students participated in all these competitions and learnt the importance of mental health and wellness through activity-based learning. Counselling Psychologist Mrs. Surabhi Pranav organized World Mental Health Week. Mr. Vikram Makhawana, AVP, Digital Solution Group, renowned trainer at Heartfulness NGO, was the event's chief guest on 10.10.23 to celebrate World Mental Health Day. The event was organized under Dr. R. D. Kharadkar (Campus Director, GHRCEM, Pune).
