The E-Vehicle Club of the Electrical Engineering Department at G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management (GHRCEM), Pune, organized an illuminating guest lecture on August 11, 2023 for first year freshets. The esteemed speaker for the event was Dr. K C Vora, Former Senior Deputy Director of ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India), Pune.

The E-Vehicle Club student volunteers extended a warm welcome to Dr. Vora, recognizing his exceptional contribution to the field of electric vehicles. The event coordinator, Dr. Asha Shendge, elaborated the significance of the lecture in terms of fostering motivation and awareness among the attendees.

During his lecture, Dr. K C Vora provided a comprehensive insight into the pivotal role of electric vehicles within both national and international contexts. Drawing upon his extensive experience, he delved into the current challenges and their corresponding solutions, citing case studies that illuminated the distinct requirements of research and product development in this dynamic field. His speech captivated the students and faculties, underlining the potential and opportunities that lie ahead.

Dr. Vora's also discussed diverse career prospects available to students from various engineering disciplines. His inspiring words encouraged students to actively participate as interns in the upcoming e-Baja competition for the academic year 2023-24, which aims to develop an electric vehicle under the aegis of GHRCEM.
