Music and Singing Club

Music and Singing Club has organized an expert session on “Learning of Indian Classical Music” on date 17th April, 2023 at 2:30 PM. The expert session was conducted by Mr. Raj Chavan who is a Singer, synthesizer player and an active member of Music and Singing Club GHRCEM, Pune. Mr. Raj started session with Ganpati Vandana. He then discussed following point in his presentation

(i) Histry of Indian classical music

(ii) Introduction of different Swara, Raga, Tala

(iii) Information of different instruments used in Indian classical Music

(iv) Diffrence between classical & semi classical music

(v) Impact of Indian classical music on mental, physical and spritual health of human beings

He also sang bhajans based on Des and Bhairavi Raag, Students enjoyed the session. 95 students of different branches and 4 Faculty members attended session.
