Toastmasters Club Activity at Raisoni Campus

 The Raisoni Institute’s Ace Toastmasters Club celebrated its First Year Anniversary and successfully conducted its 4th Promotional meet for FY B.Tech Students.

Results of the Meeting:

The meeting was super successful, as it was a promotional meeting (Demo meeting) the number of impromptu partitions (In the table topics round) was 10 speakers. And the audience was so encouraging and supportive.

The following were chosen by the audience as the best performers in their respective roles:

● Best Speaker-

The best speaker for the prepared speech session was TM Padmaj Nikam who delivered his level 2 project 3 with the majority of votes and earned the title of the best speaker.

● Best Evaluator-

The best Evaluator for the meet was bagged by TM Pratham Solanki, for his Evaluation of the Speaker TM Shruti Shete.

● Best Impromptu Speaker-

The best Table Topic speaker for the impromptu speech session was TM Shreyansh with most votes, who earned the title of best table topic speaker.

● Best Role-player-

The Best Role Player for the session was TM Pratham Waydande the General Evaluator for the meet, with the most votes and earned the title of best role player.

The meeting began with a brief Introduction of Toastmasters International to the audience by TM Padmaj Nikam, Then the Sergeant-At-Arms TM Ayush took charge, explained the rules of the meeting to the audience, and engaged in maintaining silence upon handing over to President TM Abuzaid.

TM Abuzaid officially commenced the meeting and handed the stage over to the TMOD TM Meenakshi. TM Meenakshi briefed everyone about the flow of the meeting and then introduced the General Evaluator TM Pratham Waydande.

TM Pratham Waydande took over and introduced his role and his TAG Team i.e. Timer TM Himanshi, Ah-Counter TM Priyanshi, and Grammarian TM Sarthak. The Timer explained her role and her various time conventions and handed over to the Ah-counter TM Priyanshi who indeed briefed about her role and handed over to the Grammarian TM Sarthak who explained his role and Introduced the Word of the Day: ‘Adept’ and the Phrase of the day: ‘Stick By Your Side’ with the Appreciation conventions to the audience.

The TMOD TM Meenakshi took over and commenced the First round i.e. The Prepared speeches round wherein TM Ajay delivered his Icebreaker, TM Shruti delivered her level 1 project 3 and TM Padmaj Nikam delivered his Level 2 Project 3 followed by Timer’s reports. All of them successfully delivered their respective projects.

The TMOD then introduced the Table Topics Round and the Table Topics Master TM Rajeshree. TTM TM Rajeshree conducted a wonderful round which was participated by 10 Impromptu Speakers. Later on, she handed it over to the TMOD.

TMOD TM Meenakshi then commenced the Evaluation Round and handed it over to the General Evaluator TM Pratham Waydande, who later introduced the Speaker’s Evaluators for their Evaluations. TM Shivam evaluated TM Ajay, TM Pratham Solanki evaluated TM Shruti and TM Ashish evaluated TM Padmaj Nikam. Later on, TM Pratham Waydande called the TAG Team for their reports who presented their precise reports. TM Pratham Waydande then delivered his general evaluation of every aspect of the meeting.

After the Evaluation Round, the TMOD started with the Felicitation round and conduct which he called upon President TM Abuzaid. The voting was done in a digital manner using Google forms and the the results were accurate. Later on, the SAA officially Adjourned the meeting after the Felicitation of the best Speaker, Roleplayer, Evaluator, and TTM Speaker done by the respective mentors and Table topic master.
