3rd Promotional Meet

Toastmasters Club Meeting

Introduction:

The Raisoni Institute’s Ace Toastmasters Club celebrated its First Year Anniversary and successfully conducted its 3rd Promotional meet for FY B.Tech Students.

Participants of the Meeting:

Sergeant At Arms-TM Samiksha, President-TM Rajashree, TMOD-TM Abuzaid Shaikh, Timer-TM Arya Jadhav, Ah-counter-TM Mansi Kale, Grammarian-TM Padmaj Nikam,          Table Topic Master-TM Shruti Shete, General Evaluator-TM Manisha Bairwa, Cameraperson-TM Shantanu, TM Vivek, Techmaster-TM Jaswant

Evaluators:TM Sneha, TM Shruti Singh, TM Trishita, Speakers:TM Ananti (L1P1), TM Astha (L2P1), TM Pratham Waydande (L2P1)

Detailed Report:

The meet began with a brief Introduction of Toastmasters International to the audience by TM Padmaj Nikam and TM Trishita Sarkar. The SAA TM Samiksha took the charge and explained the rules of the meet to the audience and took her place in the audience upon handing over to the President TM Rajashree.

TM Rajashree officially commenced the One year meet and handed over to the TMOD TM Abuzaid. TM Abuzaid briefed everyone about the flow of the meeting and then introduced the General Evaluator TM Manisha.

TM Manisha took over and introduced her role and her TAG Team i.e Timer TM Arya, Ah-Counter TM Mansi and Grammarian TM Padmaj.

The Timer explained her role and her various time conventions and handed over to the Ah-counter TM Mansi who indeed briefed us all about her role and handed over to the Grammarian TM Padmaj Nikam who explained his role and Introduced the Word of the Day: ‘Flabbergasted’ and the Phrase of the day: ‘The Sky’s the Limit’ with the Appreciation conventions to the audience.

The TMOD TM Abuzaid took over and commenced the First round i.e The Prepared speeches round wherein TM Ananti delivered her Icebreaker, TM Astha delivered her level 2 project 1 and TM Pratham Waydande delivered his Level 2 Project 1 followed by the Timer’s reports. All of them successfully delivered their respective projects.

The TMOD then introduced the Table Topics Round and the Table Topics Master TM Shruti Shete. TTM TM Shruti conducted a power packed round which was participated by 6 incredible Impromptu Speakers. Later on she handed over to the TMOD.

TMOD TM Abuzaid then commenced the Evaluation Round and handed over to the General Evaluator TM Manisha who later on introduced the Speaker’s Evaluators for their Evaluations. TM Sneha evaluated TM Ananti, TM Shruti evaluated TM Astha and TM Trishita evaluated TM Pratham Waydande. Later on TM Manisha called the TAG Team for their reports who presented their precise reports. TM Manisha then delivered her general evaluation of every aspect of the meet.

After the Evaluation Round, the TMOD started with the Felicitation round and to conduct which he called upon the President TM Rajashree. The voting was done in a digital manner using google forms and the results were accurate. The results are already mentioned above.

Later on the SAA officially adjourned the meet after the Felicitation of the Club President

Results of the Meeting:

The meeting was filled with Joy of completion of one year since the first club meet, every role-player delivered their best, displayed professionalism and in true sense ‘flabbergasted’ the audience and generated great curiosity in them. The following were chosen by the audience as the best performers in their respective roles.

        Best Speaker-

Best speaker for the prepared speech session was TM Pratham Waydande who delivered his level 2 project 1, with the majority of vote and earned the title of best speaker.

        Best Evaluator

Best Evaluator for the meet was bagged by TM Trishita, for her precise Evaluation for the Speaker TM Pratham Waydande.

        Best Impromptu Speaker

Best Table Topic speaker for the impromptu speech session was TM Janhvi with most votes and earned the title of best table topic speaker.

        Best Role-player-

Best Role Player for the session was TM Padmaj Nikam the Grammarian for the meet, with most votes and earned the title of best role player.
