GHRU, Amravati Conducted Guest Lecture on “Basics of Photography”
 
under Photography Club

Special guest lecture was organized for students of G H Raisoni University Amravati on Basics of photography on 22/11/22 Tuesday by Mr. Raju Pandey Sir Professional Photographer at Indian Wild Venture Wildlife Tour Organization Nagpur.

The program was started with Playing University song and lamp lightning ceremony, Vice Chancellor of our University has welcomed our guest speaker by presenting them with a sapling and a token of gratitude to him. Dr.Mangesh Dhore Head of the Department of Forensic Science has felicitate our Vice Chancellor, Dignitaries on the dice were  Dr.Vinayak Deshpande Sir VC ,Registrar Prof.Snehil Jaiswal Sir, Dr.Mangesh Dhore Sir HOD department of forensic science and Ms.Qurratul Ain Kausar Ansari photography club coordinator.In the program teachers and students of various departments were present.

The basics of photography were already taught to the students, but an external input was required in understanding the different perspectives of photography.

The main aim of this lecture was to give the students an opportunity to interact with a professional photographer and to provide them with an external exposure on the subject.

The lecture mainly focused on the following agendas:

1. Presentation of work by Mr. Raju Pandey Sir.

2. One on one interaction with the students.

3. Discussion on photography as a hobby and as a profession.

4. Discussion on wild life photography, Mobile Photography (Skills and Equipment).

The students enthusiastically assembled in seminar hall by 11:00 AM and the lecture

Started at 11:30 AM and ended around 2:30 PM. Mr. Raju Sir has shared with the students about how mobile can be used to capture good and effective photographs. Sir has given live demo session about working of SLR cameras, shutter speed and various functions of mobiles cameras. Spokesperson talked about how to use light, angles, and distance to achieve stunning photographs and about the love for nature one should have before indulging in wildlife photography. He inspired students to follow their dreams and do something that they want to do and in what they feel the most alive. He has also shown his work to the students depicting wildlife and the beauty of nature in one frame

At the end of the lecture Raju Sir praised the students for their showing interest and attending the lecture attentively. The program was concluded with the permission of Vice Chancellor Sir.
