Yoga Session on Meditation

Yoga-Fitness Club of GHRCEM, Pune organized Yoga Session on Meditation

Yoga Club of G H Raisoni College of Engineering and Management, Pune has been organized Yoga Session on Meditation on 18/11/2022 for all students, faculties and non-teaching staff members. The program was started with welcome speech of Mr. Sharad Deshpande (yoga coordinator) at 3.45 PM., Mr. Mahesh Mokashi ( Pune)  was the trainer of the yoga session. He has started the session with meaning of meditation. Meditation is a practice in which an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity – to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. Since the 19th century, Asian meditative techniques have spread to other cultures where they have also found application in non-spiritual contexts, such as business and health. Meditation may significantly reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and enhance peace, perception concept, and well-being.

Mr. Mhesh Mokashi has briefly instructed different types Of meditations and their benefits meditation. What you hope to achieve through your yoga practice will also help you zero in on a style that suits you best. Sometimes, people feel lethargic and drained without having any underlying medical condition. Practicing daily meditation can boost up energy and also improve health. While absorbed in your daily busy schedule, meditation can help to retain the mind-body balance. Only 10 minutes of doing Meditation can benefit your health.

Dr. Santosh Mishra, student dean, GHRCEM, has given his words of wisdom for the successful conduction of the yoga session. Dr. Akhya Kumar Behera, yoga coordinator has given the vote of thanks to all. Total 63 persons have been benefited through this Yoga session.
