Session on Analoh Photography

The club actively participated in the Analogue Photography session. The students in the presence of Head of Departments and the coordinators participated actively and listened to the session also

Student coordinator Ayush aurajiwala explained the students the below information in regards to analogue photography

Analog photography, also known as film photography, is a catch-all term for photography that uses chemical processes to capture an image, typically on paperfilm or a hard plate. These analog processes were the only methods available to photographers for more than a century prior to the invention of digital photography, which uses electronic sensors to record images to digital media.

He also added the below details and gave a detailed explanation on the same.

In a film camera that uses photographic emulsions, light falling upon silver halides is recorded as a latent image, which is then subjected to photographic processing, making it visible and insensitive to light.

they were keen in understanding what exactly is analogue photography and also some new students enrolled for the photography club as they were happy to learn new things during the session.
