“Deep Milan”:

Like every year, this year also the Festival of Lights of “Deep Milan”, representing the celebrations of Diwali was celebrated in G H Raisoni College of Commerce Science and Technology. The theme of the program was Road safety. The Guest of honor was Mr. Amit Dolas, PI Traffic police, Sitaburdi, Nagpur. Various Dance and Singing Performances done by the Students of Dance, For the first time Rock Band “Raagdari” was lauched to showcase the talent of the students. A dance performance on diwali celebrations of different states was performed. A huge rangoli showing the theme of “ Road Safety” with lighting of 2,000 oil lamps was one of the outstanding features of the program. Various down trodden vendors
were given an opportunity to set up their stalls of accessories and food items to
initiate earning with dignity. The program ended with a noble gesture. Prominently present on the occasion were Director Dr. Aarti Deshpande, Ms. Madhuri Barua Dean Student Support & Progression, Dr. Jasvinder Kaur, Principal, along with HOD’s, teaching and non - teaching staff of the college. The program was organized by Cultural Forum Incharge Ms Bindiya Turkar, Ms Tanushree Chatterjee and Rotaract Club Incharge Mr Vikas Chaurasia along with students of Cultural and NSS & Rotaract Club.
