The AICTE- Spices: Baking Hobby Club of GHRCE, Nagpur had organized an event named ‘Savoury Treats’ on 24thSeptember2022 via offline mode in the college canteen. Cooking and baking are both physical and mental therapy so we try to put our best foot forward and present our most favorite dishes to the judges or teachers. This time in order to do something different we had kept a savoury baking competition where participants were asked to bake a savoury dish that is not sweet. There was a total of 15 participants who participated individually or in teams of two who had baked pizzas, cheese muffins, lasagna, garlic bread, sandwiches and much more. Everything was lip smacking and tasted wonderful. We had as judge the HoD of Computer Science Department, Dr. Snehalata Dongre who graced the event with her presence and encouraged the participants for participating in further events too. The event turned out to be a great success as the 1st prize of Rs.1000/- was bagged by Arpita Deshmukh of CSE department and the 2nd Prize of Rs.500/ was bagged by Ishika Solanki and Tanu Hood from ETRX department.
